Our cost-effective honeycomb, foam and other lightweight substrate cores, bonded between a variety of rigid skins, are perfect for this application.

The combination of skins, cores, frames, connection and support strategy, adhesives, panel thicknesses, and overall size Bellcomb offers is second to none. We make sure that all of the variables that affect performance and impact cost are in line with clients’ application requirements and budgets.

Dance Flooring

Bellcomb produces high-performance dance floor panels. Edge closures, connections and support hardware can be integrated into the panel design to provide a turnkey solution.

Elevated Flooring

Bellcomb’s elevated flooring designs are optimized for weight, strength and impact resistance. Our first installation was the world's largest futures trading floor at the Chicago Board of Trade where they were disrupting business by having to replace flooring panels every three years. The 70,000 square foot floor was constructed with 3' x 3' panels made of formed lightweight Steel skins with a special hardboard shock panel, bonded to high-density urethane foam. It was designed to support a point load of 1,000 pounds with less than 1/10'' deflection while supported only in four corners. Each panel weighed just 42 lbs. The final result? After ten years, the CBOT hasn’t had to change out the floor system. (Unfortunately, they only had one flooring problem for us to solve for them!)
