Panel Edges, Joiners, and Attachments
This is where you need a panel strategy. Bellcomb composite sandwich panels are generally a component in the assembly of a larger system. These systems need panels that are closed out along the edges, as they are often attached to one another in a system, or they’ll have other components attached to them.
Bellcomb will uncover what the panel system performance parameters are and where it is going to be used; we call this the service environment. As with the requirements on a single panel there are load considerations, acceptable deflection ranges and other complexities to consider. We use an unparalleled list of suppliers to select which components best meet your needs. This is where Bellcomb offers you so much. You talk and we listen; we ask you questions and you describe your problem. We truly offer a customer engineered solution using structural composite lightweight panels.
Panel Edges
Edge close outs fall into two basic categories: internal and
external. Internal features are incorporated during panel fabrication
while external features are added after fabrication.

Panel Joiners
Multiple panels are often joined together to form large systems or modular assemblies, which may be assembled and disassembled. As with edges, panel joiners can be internal or external to the panel construction.

Panel Attachment Points
Attachment points can be easily accommodated through a variety of techniques. Our technical staff can provide direction based on your specific application.
