SKIN MATERIALS

While each project has different needs, we often recommend Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel to comply with fire resistance requirements. Using noncombustible and self-extinguishing materials, Bellcomb can meet or exceed flame spread and smoke generation specifications. An Aluminum skin paired with a Nomex™ or Aluminum core material could prove to withstand the greatest noncombustibility requirements. CORE MATERIALS

Bellcomb can provide a number of solutions if your design requires panel materials to have properties ranging from fire resistant to noncombustible. The core materials Aluminum and Nomex™, for example, as well as the foam core Polylsocyanurate all protect against the risk of fire. However, each material possesses other unique advantages that can be essential to your panel needs. For instance, while each material is similarly lightweight, Nomex™ has superior impact resistance characteristics.
